Once antimicrobial treatment is complete, contaminated residue still needs to be removed without spreading it through the property. We use an ASA 30 H PC H-Class wet and dry vacuum for a controlled post-treatment cleanup pass. Its H-Class filtration is designed for very fine hazardous mould and dust, while containment helps reduce cross-contamination as material is lifted at the source. The machine handles both wet and dry recovery, so it can be matched to the conditions on site. Automatic filter cleaning helps maintain consistent suction through demanding remediation work. Vacuum extraction forms one part of a complete mould treatment plan: we pair physical removal with the right antimicrobial, steam or fogging treatment, then address moisture and drying so the conditions that allowed mould to grow are properly managed.

A HEPA air scrubber is not an H-Class vacuum: the vacuum removes contamination at the source, while the air scrubber captures particles already airborne.

Common questions

Does H-Class vacuum extraction kill mould?

No. Vacuum extraction physically removes and contains contaminated material; it does not kill mould. It is used with the appropriate antimicrobial, steam or fogging treatment, followed by moisture control and thorough drying.

How is an H-Class vacuum different from a HEPA air scrubber?

They perform different jobs. An H-Class vacuum removes mould and dust directly at the source, while a HEPA air scrubber captures particles that are already airborne. A remediation plan may use both.
